Role description

We are a diverse team of engineers and business developers working on a multitude of innovative products and technology projects on a mission to take transport in industrial intra-logistics to the next level.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in our Corporate Accelerator to design exciting new products, from prototyping to series production.
  • Develop, test, and maintain firmware for System on Module (SoM) boards used in our new industrial automation products.
  • Lead coding standard definition and ensure that they are met.
  • Prepare and conduct testing and troubleshooting of prototypes at customer sites.
  • Identify areas for improvement and define the next step for product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with customers and provide technical support, addressing any concerns or issues that arise during the commissioning phase.

Education and experience

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Broad experience in C++ application development on embedded systems, ideally DSP and/or automation systems.
  • Experience with buildroot embedded Linux OS for custom hardware (ideally Toradex and/or SOM Xilinx)
  • Experience with driver development and industrial protocols, e.g. Modbus, SPI, I2C.
  • Familiarity with System on Module (SoM) boards.
  • Experience with Agile workflows.
  • Understanding electrical documentation, such as wiring diagrams, is a big advantage.
  • Familiarity with LabView, Matlab/Simulink and Python is a plus.
