Role description

We are a diverse team of engineers and business developers working on a multitude of innovative product and technology projects on a mission to take transport in industrial intra-logistics to the next level.

For our new product family being launched to the market, we are seeking a motivated Field Application Engineer to bridge our engineering teams and customers, ensuring the effective deployment and support of our advanced machinery in the field.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute in-house tests and field tests for new products, gathering performance data and ensuring smooth execution in live environments.
  • Assist customers with preparation, commissioning and after-sales support of machines to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide prompt and knowledgeable technical support for aftersales service, troubleshooting, and maintenance to resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Gather valuable customer insights and feedback from fieldwork and channel them to the product development team to refine product designs and features.

Education and experience

  • University Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with testing, commissioning and servicing industrial automation equipment.
  • Experience with new product introduction and prototypes. 
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Undertanding of Python and C++ programming (or willingness to learn). 
  • Experience with Omron/MiR AMRs and their commissioning is a plus.
  • Good understanding of customer needs and requirements in the field of intralogistics and manufacturing.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as required.
